Head of Commercial Sales Support

Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
….be overall responsible for and head our newly established Commercial Sales Support organisation consisting of 4 departments; Value Engineering & Pricing, Financial solutions, Bid Management & Sales Support and Sales Quality.

The Commercial Sales Support organisation acts as ‘commercial consultants’ to the transactional sales organisation. Being gate keepers for a professional and sound approach to bidding and contribute and assist projects with value engineering concepts, financial solutions and administrative sales support.

You will report directly to our CSO and your responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide a clear strategic direction, purpose and leadership to Commercial Sales Support functions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the 4 department heads
  • Join and contribute to a knowledgeable and experienced Sales Management team – offering a non-sales angle to ongoing leadership discussions and strategy
  • Developing an engaging and thriving culture across the different functions
  • Develop and implement value based pricing strategies for MVOW’s sales activities across different markets and revenue streams

Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has +5 years’ experience from similar management role. You hold a Master degree within Economics or Finance combined with business facing commercial experience and a proven track record of supporting and partnering with sales functions. Superior leadership skills are required for this position enabling you to provide strategic direction.

To succeed in this role, you must be a natural born number cruncher with strong problem solving and analytical skills ensuring that you succeed in analyzing complex business problems.

You have strong interpersonal skills and a talent for building relations across the organisation combined with a well-developed capability to manage a complex range of diverse stakeholders.

Furthermore, we expect that you:

  • Are a skillful communicator with great presentation skills
  • Have strong value chain understanding
  • Have superior English communication skills
