Technical Trainer, SKOV Academy

SKOV continues its successful growth strategy which includes increased focus on competence development of SKOV end-users, SKOV dealers and service partners, and SKOV employees. As a part of this development, we are looking for a trainer with experience from the industry to extend our core team at SKOV Academy.                           

The responsibilities will be development and delivery of training in class-rooms or web-based. End-users are trained in optimal operation of SKOV systems, whereas SKOV dealers, service partners and employees are trained in selling, installing and commissioning of SKOV systems.

In your new job you can look forward to a great range of exciting and challenging tasks but your main focus areas will be:

  • Delivery of technical training at SKOV in Glyngoere, Denmark and at customers’ premises globally.
  • Development of classroom training material i.e. lectures, slide packs, exercises.
  • Contribute to the continued development of SKOV Academy, including development of new and innovative training methods.

In order to be a success in your new job:

  • you have a relevant technical degree, electrician, B.Sc. or similar – as the primary target group for training is service technicians
  • you have experience from the agricultural industry, preferably pig and/or poultry production
  • you are able to travel 40-60 days per year.
  • you are fluent in English
  • it will be beneficial if you have experience with training, preferably from an equivalent job in an international organization.

On the personal level you are dynamic and outgoing always putting the learners in focus. You work independently and get energy from teaching others and being in the spotlight. We take it for granted that you are fluent in English and that you are a proficient PC user who can use various IT tools (Microsoft Office, learning development tools). Your workplace will be at our headquarters in Glyngoere.
