Your role as Sales Manager at BC Hospitality Group will be a mix of account management and new business development, requiring skills that will suit both styles of selling. The position requires you to be both commercially minded, and to have an astute understanding of people. Building and maintaining relationships with both existing key accounts and new prospect accounts is an essential skill for this role.

As Sales Manager, you will be working in a very high paced, highly energized and fun environment in an ambitious team and you will be given the empowerment to achieve successful results.

You will be working closely with global brands, global sales colleagues and peers in our business in a highly collaborative work environment.



We are looking for a sales person capable of thinking and acting in a strategic and commercial manner and at the same time possessing a true hunting instinct, to facilitate the success of our MICE and Corporate business.

The job consists of:
• Managing a portfolio of accounts with targets & actions
• Reach/Exceed revenue targets annually
• Monthly calls to prospect clients with targets
• Qualify new contacts with potential MICE business for BCHG on an on-going basis
• Actively build and manage New Business Portfolio based on set annual target
• Conducting client meetings, site inspections and conference calls
• Generate agreed number of MICE leads on a monthly basis
• Responsibility for entering data, managing & cleaning own databases on an ongoing basis
• Actively participate in Tele Sales days every other month
• Participate and network at client events
• Work with our international RFP systems
• Nordic and European business travel in order to drive new business opportunities



About you

You should have prior, documented sales results, good knowledge and networks within the industry. You should be outgoing and with a natural ability for building relationships & rapport. You should be experienced in both executing and following-up on promotional activities. You should be able to work in a structured way with complex sales project.

The focus of this job is making connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to achieve results. As the work entails driving toward business results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of others, knowledge and skill in how to successfully influence and persuade others by understanding how their individual needs, should be your trademarks.

Furthermore the ability to understand, quickly react, and motivate others to adapt to changes in the market or in the organizational environment is a critical keys to success in this role. 

Other than that, you should be:
• A team player
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Organised and structured in how you work
• Able to adapt quickly to new procedures and multiple systems (Opera, Axapta)
• Able to multi-task as well as work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Professional with a “get it done” attitude and strong work ethics
• A driven sales personality – with a “hunters” approach
• Fluent in English
