About us

CHIP is an international research center at Rigshospitalet. We are a dynamic interdisciplinary international group with approx. 90 full-time employees working in medical and public health research, IT development and data management, statistics and bioinformatics and other areas. CHIP is a leading center in the development and coordination of international clinical and observational studies involving patients with HIV and other infectious diseases such as COVID-19, hepatitis, and tuberculosis, primarily from clinics in Europe.

CHIP has partners in many countries and English is the working language. You can read more here: http://www.chip.dk

Your tasks

You will be part of CHIP IT, which is an integral part of CHIP with 12 employees divided into developers and data managers. There is an informal and nice environment where we prioritize taking care of each other, although we are also busy developing and further improving the databases used for CHIP’s research. You will work closely with CHIP's other researchers, project managers and partners. As IT Web Developer, you will play an important role and can expect many versatile and challenging tasks, including:

  • Front-end development and implementation of all related company and project-based websites (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Developing functional UI with understanding of UX principles
  • Maintaining the existing C# based DotNetNuke CMS
  • Developing and maintaining project-based websites based on Umbraco CMS
  • Assisting in web development tasks within the company and project-based websites
About you

We expect you to meet the following requirements:

  • Degree in Web Development
  • Extensive professional experience with web development
  • Thorough experience with C # and web application development
  • High level English proficiency. Other languages are an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft DevOps for source control, documentation and task management
  • Knowledge of websites related to health data
We value and expect you to be independent, systematic and a service-minded team player. You are passionate and proud of your work and the value you add. You understand your role in the collaboration and participate solution-oriented, openly and respectfully in the dialogue with everyone around you. You are driven by your curiosity and the joy of delivering high quality results - within the deadline, of course.

These are high demands. In return, we offer a sincerely meaningful job in a dynamic environment with dedicated colleagues who value an atmosphere of trust, transparency and at the same time like to have fun.

Salary and employment conditions
