Area Sales Manager, Benelux

Dynaudio combines Danish design, unique knowledge of "sound" and craftsmanship in our world-class speakers. We develop and produce loudspeakers within the four segments Consumer, Pro, CI and Automotive. Our Headquarter is in Skanderborg, Denmark and we have regional Sales Offices in several countries. Our Benelux team is closely connected to the Headquarters, and you will be working partly out of your home office with sales administrative tasks, on the road visiting dealers and ones a week at the Dutch office. Your days will be divided between out on the "road" visiting dealers/potential dealer, training and sales administrative task.

With a strong knowledge of the Hi-Fi business and with market sense, you will work together with the sales team to successfully manage our sales territories. The Area Sales Manager reports to the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, Benelux.


A job with responsibility for your own customer portfolio

As part of the Dynaudio Sales team, you will drive the development of an effective distribution network for our Custom Install segment in Belgium and the rest of the Benelux countries in line with global and regional distribution strategy.

Main areas of responsibility will be to build and maintain our current customer’s portfolio, to strategically target potential customers, to generate and grow new business, and to successfully convert the target audience. Keywords in the position are an eagerness to succeed and to make a difference. We are looking for a "closer" who can take/make a sales lead and follow it through to closing and maintain excellent after sales care. Someone who can align with the dealers/business owners and become an invaluable part of their business.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the sales team to target and successfully sell to potential customers within the key target profile, leveraging key channel partners and preferred wholesalers, dealers, and installers
  • Manage your sales budget and report on progress
  • Participate in shows, dealer events and product launches
  • Support marketing and perform sales training activities for our customers
  • Sales coordination, newsletters and updating CRM system
Your profile matters

You have:

  • Proven success in selling activities; preferably from within the Hi-Fi /Audio industry.
  • Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (in Sales and/or Marketing preferred).
  • Experience with direct sales /sales management.
  • Experience with market development concepts (adoption lifecycle, market development checklist, and STP (segmenting / targeting / positioning)) based on sustaining products and innovations.
  • Experience working for a product leadership company where the focus is on value selling, not price.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and proprietary software.
Besides great communication skills, you master French, Dutch and English fluently or at an advanced level.
