Ilse Jacobsen Hornbæk, IJH A/S, is a Danish design company founded in 1993 by Ilse Jacobsen. From HQ in Aalsgaarde, we work with fashion & lifestyle creation around the world, fusing a mindset with global skills combining digitalization, sustainability, and tradition. We create collections of e.g., outerwear, shoes, accessories, and more products. 

Ilse Jacobsen Hornbæk is having a new organizational structure, and we are therefore looking for a new team member to be responsible for the sales category, channels, customer and country to support and develop some of our emerging markets. You will become part of a dedicated sales team with e.g., three Area Sales Managers, in a company with high ambitions for the future. The position reports to the Chief of Sales & Category Officer, Trine Frausing.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As Area Sales Manager you will assist and support your own markets - including handle full customer support and follow-up in own markets as well as provide administrative tasks related to customers and markets and prepare annual go-to-market plans and strategies.
  • Analyze market potentials and develop and implement sales plans to grow the business.
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships and drive sales activities with exiting partners to build Ilse Jacobsen Hornbæk brand and sales in the market.
  • Identify and develop new quality partners across all channels (retailers, e-tailers, contract partners).
  • Conduct market visits.
  • Monthly budget & KPI follow up.
  • Participate in international fairs & exhibitions.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset and analytical skills, thrives when building new markets and developing existing customer relationships.


PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong business development skills, sales drive and result-oriented with a hands-on approach.
  • Minimum 3 years’ key-account experience from sales of consumer goods, preferably from the fashion and lifestyle industry.
  • Relevant commercial education.
  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English and preferably also other languages.
  • Self-driven, but at the same time a team player.
  • Organized and effective time manager.
  • Positive & outgoing personality who can motivate and inspire our customers.
  • Understands what it means to be a brand ambassador.
