Area Sales Manager, Tønder/Esbjerg

Our new Area Sales Manager will be part of the sales department, which is responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities in accordance with our strategy for project and service sales in power, waste and biomass fuel and industrial installations.
Boilerworks A/S offers environmentally sustainable boilers to the international energy sector, and has more than 55 years of experience in product development and technical innovation within the industry.

Boilerworks A/S, located in Tønder and Esbjerg is a subsidiary of Danstoker A/S in Herning. The group is part of the Thermax Group. Thermax Limited’s headquarter is in India, the group is represented in 75 countries with offices and production facilities around the globe.


The job:

Our Area Sales Manager will primarily focus on our markets in Scandinavia, and especially Sweden.

In addition, your main responsibilities will be:

Work continuously and focused on the sales pipeline - including customer care of existing customers, sales follow-up and maintenance of the customer portfolio
Identify and develop new clients
Increase the company's business opportunities to support the budgets
Preparation of sales budgets and forecasts
Service sales for revamp and upgrade projects
Develop sales strategies and setting goals in collaboration with the management and senior executives
Lead and assist in commercial negotiations
Analyze market trends and customer requirements
Cooperate with the proposal team regarding proposals
Prepare prequalification material
Forecasting / feasibility studies
Participate in promotional initiatives such as fairs and exhibitions
Bid / no bid decisions according to the company's strategy

About you:

You have experience from a similar position and a relevant educational background, at minimum bachelor level, preferable engineer. You have at least 5 years of experience and comprehensive knowledge of combustion technology and project management of projects in the energy sector. Furthermore, the right candidate has a solid technical and commercial insight into project sales.

Your drive helps you take initiative and you are decisive as well as committed. You are professionally well-founded, and can stay focused on quality and results in a dynamic and often hectic environment.


We expect you to have the following professional qualifications:

Strong skills in analyzing customer needs and preferences
Clear understanding of the setup and implementation of projects
Solid commercial and technical understanding within the combustion industry
Substantial experience in coordinating and collaborating with customers and business partners in the industry
Professionally negotiate with customers, advisors and subcontractors
Strong verbal and written communication skills within Danish and English, are expected at business level
Understands and can communicate in the Scandinavian languages
