Area Sales Manager, United Kingdom & Ireland

Are you looking for your next sales challenge in United Kingdom and Ireland? Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to get things done and the commercial skill-set to back it up? Then you might be the new Area Sales Manager in our European sales team.

What is the job about?

Working from your home, you will be handling sales across United Kingdom and Ireland and continuously develop a dedicated network of dealers and service technicians.

This includes:

  • Making budgets, handling plans and executing these
  • Developing dealers
  • Strengthening SKOV’s position at the UK and Irish market further

You will be a member of a European sales team of 14, a group of engaged and skilled Sales Managers. 

To be successful, we imagine that you:

are hungry to prove yourself, eager to learn and thrive with autonomy, flexibility, and the freedom to plan your own work. You might get an easier start if you:

  • Have a relevant technical or commercial degree, experience from the agricultural industry and an understanding of climate solutions is an advantage.
  • Are self-motivated and result-oriented and you have excellent communications- and people skills.
  • Speak and write English effortlessly.

To provide you with the optimal conditions, we will:

  • Give you a thorough introduction, making sure you have the necessary knowledge to approach your market and achieve your goals.

The job is home based and requires full availability for frequent business travels across United Kingdom and Ireland, approx. 50% of your time. You will also travel to SKOV headquarters in Denmark occasionally for training, customer visits and meetings.  

You will be responsible to Harry Luimes, Area Sales Director, Europe.
