About the departments

The departments focus on in vitro biology within diabetes and cardiovascular and kidney research. We work in an organ-centric and disease agnostic manner within metabolism, islet-, neuro-, vascular, and kidney biology. Our departments work with high interdependencies to develop, characterise and use in vitro tools to elucidate mode-of-action and profiling of novel drug candidates.
