BI/ Analytics Technical lead, Copenhagen

The offer

As BI technical lead you will be the technical lead in a team of BI/analytics/big data developers. The primary responsibility is to deliver BI/analytical solutions to internal Nordea Trading Technology business units. Your technical expertise will span across our self-service BI/analytics solutions. 

In Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence, Trading Technology, we are delivering the future Data & Analytics platforms and solutions for Nordea Wholesale Banking. We deliver on multiple data platforms (Oracle & Hadoop) using various enterprise and self-service data integration and analytical platforms (DataStage, Alteryx and Qlik). 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Technical Lead in a team of 3 developers spread across our locations
  • Develop end2end BI and Analytical solutions
  • Define the best practice and design patterns to ensure solutions are built in high quality
  • Assist developers in creating implementations specifications as well as reviewing them
  • Act as technical lead/application architect
  • Actively demonstrating focus on business requirements and understanding of the complete BI/analytics delivery value chain
  • Engaging, coaching and empowering team to make sure that deliverables and goals are met
  • Proactively engaging stakeholders through clear communication, managing their understanding, expectations and involvement

The role is based in Copenhagen.

To make an impact in the role as Head of Analytics, you are passionate about BI/analytics and data (big as well as small) 

Your background: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in DW, BI & analytics 
  • Academic IT degree (master) 
  • Expert in one or more of the following BI/Analytics tools 
  • QlikView & QlikSense 
  • Alteryx

Experience in the following technologies: 

  • Hadoop
  • Spark
  • Storm
  • Hive
  • Technical background as BI developer / architect
