What we offer:
You will report to the Head of Intermodal Products, and be responsible for delivering the Multicarrier Drayage product vision and P&L. The Multicarrier Drayage product today is a decentralized value proposition and you are the lead in creating a standardized global product offering that addresses our customers’ pain points. This involves collaborating with HQ and frontline teams to employ disciplined product management and change management toolkits to deliver on this.

Key responsibilities:

Product strategy and value proposition

  • Define the global product strategy in collaboration with relevant functions as well as regions/areas, with the objective of making the product an integral offering of overall Maersk’s strategy
  • Responsible for identifying the holistic value proposition (along with relevant functions) for customers based on their needs and pain points, and Maersk’s growth strategy and environment; transforming those value propositions into profitable products.
  • Product development and management

  • Drives product standardization and design in collaboration with internal products / processes and platforms;
  • Responsible for ensuring platform, internal product and operational teams have a holistic understanding of the product’s value proposition in order to develop technical and operational solutions along the delivery processes and ensure the execution of the value proposition
  • Drives global product standards and guideline to the regions/areas
  • Responsible for continuously managing and optimizing the product post-launch to sustain relevance and differentiation
  • Product performance and collaboration

  • Define key metrics to measure product performance and is responsible for the product performance in the market
  • Responsible for working collaboratively with other business Product Owners & Managers across the product and platform organization, seeking out synergies and advancing on value proposition creation aligned with Maersk’s overall strategy
  • Facilitate best practices sharing across regions/areas
  • Required Skills and Experiences:

    In this role, we are looking for someone who has

  • Passion for customers and ability to identify customer pain points and converting them into business outcomes for our customers
  • Strong ability to drive product standardization agenda and change management across HQ and frontline to create a standardized value proposition for our customers
  • 5-10 years of product management, with focus experience in Logistics/Landside Transportation/Ocean market and products
  • Comfortable with complexity and uncertainty
  • Strong financial and data acumen, and able to make both strategic and tactical decisions based on them
  • Strong communication skills to relay new product ideas across all levels
  • Independent, self-starter and strong stakeholder management skills
