Business Analyst for Industrial IT

•Be part of a large-scale system implementation, building a new IT platform for our ocean vessel fleet, the worldwide biggest container shipping fleet.

•Focus for this role will be Time Charter vessels, i.e. vessels that are not owned by us and that we integrate only for a limited amount of time.

•As part of the Industrial IT team will you get the chance to switch between projects and take over more responsibility over time. Industrial IT focuses on projects that deal directly with our assets, like vessels or containers.

The preferred location for this position is Copenhagen, however depending on the candidate’s current location, Aarhus can be considered. You can expect occasional travel between these locations, up to one week per month. Further details about location can be discussed at the interview.

Key responsibilities

•Works with the business to understand new business requirements around our ocean vessels and containers and translate them into detailed functional requirements in the application development process.

•Has accountability for prioritising, planning and delivery of solutions to the business.

•Carries out business process mapping, business process reengineering and business process analysis wherever needed.

•Coordinates and prioritises solution delivery with key internal and external stakeholders.

•Manages and mitigates risk due to changes.

 We are looking for

•We look as well for experienced Business Analysts but are open for people with potential and interest to fill in this role.

•Communication skills, in order to elicit requirements and to communicate with stake holders.

•Strong process oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail.

•Analytical mind-set, Focused on quality.

•Stakeholder management skills.

•Experience of leading and influencing resources not under direct line management.

•Excellent Written and Verbal skills with people at all levels across the organisation in English.

•Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

In addition to above the suitable candidate has ideally:
•Experience in the marine industry.
•Computer Science Degree.
