The Business Development Manager (BDM) serves as the primary point of contact for generating sales of products and services from R&D to Manufacturing in pharma and biopharma both to existing and new customers.

As a BDM you will drive business forward and manage key strategic projects to help our customers meet their objectives and maximize business opportunities. This will be in combination working with a team of sales specialists within Life Science, PPE/CES, Chemistry, microbiology, services, and many other functions both from the local organization and from other countries.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A university degree in science subject and really understand the Life Science workflow in a pharma/biopharma company from R&D to Manufacturing
  • Passionate about sales
  • Solid sales experience and ideally account management experience
  • Ability to effectively engage customers senior management and the ability to handle complex decision-making scenarios
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Enjoy driving their own work forward and is self-motivated to achieve strong results.
  • Project management skills or a very structured approach
  • Your responsibilities:

  • Drive to close deals and engaging in their total customer experience to guarantee long term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Share experience and best practice of product sales with colleagues
  • Contribute to knowledge base to allow continued improvement of work efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Execute territory planning and map out and target key opinion leaders
  • Achieve commercial targets and increasing sales by actively selling and developing tactical plans to maximize revenues.
  • Attend applicable sales meetings, training programs and exhibitions.
