Chubb is strengthening the Nordic Consumer team

Do you have experience from the insurance or financial services industry and want to grow your skills in one of the world’s largest insurance companies? Do you thrive to identify new business opportunities and have knowledge over the Danish insurance market? If so, we would love to hear from you! 

We are looking for a Business Development Manager, Nordic Countries to join our team. We are looking for an experienced professional with hands on attitude to focus mostly on the Danish market, but you will be also occasionally working with other Nordic markets as well. You will work as part of the Nordic team and you will work closely with different departments through our organization. The job is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.


The main responsibility of Business Development Manager is to follow the Nordic insurance market (focus on Denmark), identify new business opportunities, pitch our value proposition to prospects, bind new business and maintain good relationships with partners. The role is targeted to focus on the Danish market, but will potentially support and operate also in other Nordic markets. Experience from bill protector / payment protection insurance programs will be plus. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and actively identify new business opportunities within the Danish insurance market, focus on consumer business within A&H (accident and health).
  • Understand the need of the customer and build winning value proposition to pitch our products and bind new business.
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services.
  • Account management of existing clients and active account management for the won businesses in Denmark including strategic development of the accounts.
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.

    Who are we looking for?
    We expect you to have a suitable degree (M.Sc / BBA) and at least 5 years of experience working in similar role with a successful track record of identifying new business opportunities. We hope you have experience in building long lasting client and broker relationships, nurturing and developing them and have knowledge of insurance products and the industry. The role requires excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills. 

    We are a small team and hope you are business minded and have a hands-on way of working. As a person you are open, proactive, target orientated and able to handle various tasks at the same time. You have an analytical and a tactical mindset and you are collaborative by nature, but you are also able to work independently when required. You have strong communication skills and thrive with professional challenges. This position requires fluent good English and will require some traveling within the Nordics mostly.
