Business Development Representative (Student Worker) - Native Portuguese Speakers

Queue-it is looking for talented students for our Business Development Representative role, to support our outbound sales organization. We are seeking people who are passionate about new business opportunities and who understand how to create and qualify new sales opportunities. We are growing our business within the Brazilian market, so we are looking for individuals who can take ownership of identifying new development potential within Brazil, Portugal and other Portuguese speaking geographies. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a dynamic start-up environment and will bring energy and passion to his/her work.

We are working with leading retail brands, ticket vendors, government and educational organizations as well as ICOs across the globe to ensure that their customers and users have the best possible experience, even during peak web traffic. With Queue-it, our customers can provide their clients with a fair and frustration-free online experience during the most business-critical times.

At Queue-it, we have established ourselves as the leading provider of virtual waiting room services to control website traffic surges during key online events. Our cloud-based SaaS solution helps organizations to control website overload.

The Role:

  • Proactive business development
  • Create & qualify new sales opportunities and then pass them to Sales to close
  • Update and maintain Queue-it’s CRM platform
  • Prospects into list of target accounts to develop new sales opportunities from cold or inactive accounts
  • We serve customers globally, so changing working hours should be expected


About You:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Native Portuguese speaker
  • Fluent business English
  • Good understanding of the Brazilian and Portuguese business markets
  • Highly analytical and structured
  • Passionate and excited about new business development
  • Strong business mindset, and interest in technology
  • Ambitious, motivated and result oriented individual
  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Previous comparable work experience is preferred

The position is a student job (part-time) and starts as soon as possible. Please note that you have to be graduating in January 2019 or later to be considered for the position.
