This requires thorough and strategic financial management, reporting and planning. As Business Information Manager in Business Area Europe North & Central you will help to facilitate world-class processes in these areas to the benefit of seven European markets.

About the department
The Europe North & Central Business Information department is responsible for generating value adding decision support through financial management, strategic business analysis and market insights activities in the business area. The business area comprises of affiliates in the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Finland and Austria and employs around 530 employees. With its annual turnover of app. 5 billion DKK it is the biggest business area in Novo Nordisk. In addition, the business area is also among the first to launch the newest products on a global level.

The position
As Business Information Manager you will be working as dedicated finance partner to one of our affiliates. You will be part of a dedicated and engaged Business Information team reporting to the Business Information Director.
You will actively drive business decisions by translating financial data into business insights and your tasks will span over business controlling, market analysis and sales forecasting, while business partnering with our affiliates’ Business Support Directors. You will be the owner of all financial planning processes as well as reporting for your affiliate. In addition, you will actively be working on enhancing the use of the Global Shared Service Centre in India in collaboration with your Business Information colleagues. Thorough stakeholder management and consistent cross-functional collaboration will be keys to success in this position.

Qualifications 
You hold a Master degree in Finance or Economics and ideally more than three years of relevant work experience as analyst with a focus on management reporting, financial planning and analysis. You have strong analytical skills, a proactive mind-set and you strive for excellence.
As a person you have a can do mind-set and a positive approach to tasks and a good sense of humour. You are self-driven, comfortable taking on new responsibilities and you are able to see opportunities and invite yourself to the table. You have great communication skills and you are able to cooperate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation. You must be fluent in English. Lastly, to become a trusted finance partner you will need to be willing to invest time and efforts in understanding our business and the challenges we face in our operations.
