The Finance and Operations department in Novo Nordisk Denmark is now looking for an engaged and driven business information manager. 

The Job
We are looking for a person with a passion for partnering across organisational functions, cost management, performance reporting and generating actionable insight for the organisation. The position offers great opportunities for functional and personal development while being part of a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry and direct access to the country Management Team.

You will actively drive business decisions by translating financial data into business insights and your tasks will span over financial controlling and reporting, budgeting as well as partnering with line of business around cost management and investment prioritisation. You will be responsible for internal monthly and quarterly cost reporting, including monthly budget follow up with line of business. You will have the ownership of financial planning data, strong understanding of links between the data sources and data output in SAP BW, BI tools, and reports.

Furthermore, you will act as a dedicated finance partner to the Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory organisation. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting financial analyses to the Management Team. The analytical decision material you will be responsible for preparing will be used for identifying gaps as well as challenge the organisation to drive strong resource allocation across the business. Your thorough stakeholder management, consistent cross-functional collaboration, system expertise, sharp analyses, and ability to influence stakeholders will be your keys to success in this position.
 
Qualifications
You hold a relevant master's degree (i.e., in finance or economics) with excellent results. You have outstanding analytical and coordinating skills combined with a strong Microsoft Excel expertise and a structured result-oriented approach to your task. You have a solid understanding of accounting and possess strong commercial acumen. You are a valued business partner, and you take pride in noticing details and always taking your analysis one step further to support the business.

You are pro-active, high performing, business minded, and interested to initiate and drive projects that will positively impact our business. Other key personal qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills, good sense of humour, and a high level of energy. You are fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages (written and spoken) will be an advantage, but not a requirement. Experience with business intelligence systems (e.g., SAP BO, QlikSense) is an advantage.

The department consists of an international and diverse group of highly dedicated professionals. The team is characterised by a lot energy, collaboration, and trust. The team is ambitious, and the pace is high, but the tone is informal and there is a fun and good-spirited atmosphere in the department.
