CAPA Manager to drive continuous improvement

Brief Description

Do you have the analytical skills to identify process improvements within a large division of a global business with a truly customer-focused work environment?

Then join our Continual Improvement team and a fast-paced, high-octane, success-driven and team-oriented environment committed to growing the business in a constantly evolving organisation. Do you thrive in a startup environment? We are looking for candidates to ignite our business!

Detailed Description

Enable a culture of continuous improvement

As our new CAPA manager, you will join 10 highly competent colleagues to analyse and continuously improve the processes and business performance within FLSmidth.

You will act as a change agent who help us improve quality and lower cost spend on non-conformance. To succeed, you use your analytical flair to develop multiple measurable process improvement projects that have a documented benefit to the business, which you then hand over to teams in the organisation that can facilitate the implementation of new or optimised processes. Thus, you:

• Drive analytical projects and document processes and process changes

• Collaborate with management and organisational units involved in data collection and process improvement activities

• Share best practice and develop ideas for "spin-off projects" when issues are beyond the scope of the initial project

• Develop replication plans and programmes for projects to be rolled out across the entire business

• Work with local management and specialists on defining corrective actions and collaborate with the finance team to determine financial benefits of improvements and document the actual gains

• Develop financial information including company savings and/or revenue increase

Job Requirements

Highly analytical with an eye for process improvements

• You have 3+ years of experience in process analysis as well as a relevant engineering degree, so you know how to analyse processes, do cost-benefit analysis and uncover risks.

• You know change management and preferably hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

• You are great at problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging.

• You have the excellent communication skills to deliver engaging, informative and well-organised presentations on a regular basis.

• You are highly proficient in MS Office, and you communicate effortlessly in English.

Personally, you are all about delivering quality, improvements and clear thinking. Yet, you are the type to acknowledge the current state of our processes and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to see performance improvements through in a diplomatic way. Finally, you have the confidence to take ownership of your tasks and deliver on quality and deadlines unsupervised through sheer determination.
