Architecting successful solutions in the cloud require a set of skills that go beyond pure product knowledge. Our customers are rapidly adopting multi-cloud strategies, while still needing to maintain on-premises estates and keeping up with line of business bought SaaS platforms to support specific business processes.

As Cloud Architects at Oracle, we put ourselves in the middle of this diverse landscape. We guide our customers on how to utilize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services from IaaS over PaaS to our industry leading Autonomous Services to allow them to take advantage of the innovation and development Oracle continues to provide. We architect solutions with respect to our customers pace and hybrid strategies, which means we do not only understand our own technology but the broad landscape of the industry leaders.
Cloud automation and rapidly available services means we are always ready to show our customers the solutions we are offering in real life; we do not only tell, we do hands-on – because seeing is believing.

We are currently looking to expand our Danish team of Cloud Architects. Architects who are working with our largest customers, with the aim of ensuring successful usage of Oracle Cloud services. You will be responsible for understanding our customers strategies, projects, pain points and become a trusted advisor who ensures that we continuously identify new workloads to be integrated, migrated or born in Oracle Cloud. We are a customer facing organization striving to engage and work in partnership with our customers. As Cloud Architects we work in close cooperation with Cloud Sales Reps, defining and presenting joint technical and commercially fit solutions to our customers.

  • Theoretically founded with a bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar branch that supports the technology industry
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

    As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
