Control of Work Lead - Halfdan

If yes, then this might be the job for you as we are looking for our new Control of Work Lead for our Halfdan platform in the Danish Business Unit Asset, Offshore.

As part of the Danish Business Unit Asset, offshore, you will shape and develop a central role with great influence in the support to management and the performing authorities enabling them to deliver needed Control of Work-related documentation for safe and efficient utilization of workforce. You will furthermore be responsible for the coordination of activities ensuring required risk control measures are in place to safely prepare for, execute and re-instate equipment into service. 

Besides on-the-job training offshore, you will occasionally attend a number of courses which cover safety-related as well as technical training; this is one of the ways to uphold superior standards when it comes to safety and technological excellence – and a way for you to develop your professional skills. 

Key responsibilities 

You will work in a rotation of 2 weeks offshore and 3 weeks at home. Courses and other activities will be conducted during the homestay period. Moreover, during the 14 days offshore, you will work 12 hrs. shifts. 

Your key responsibilities and tasks; 

Responsible for enablement of supervisors in managing the work executed on the installation

Responsible for efficient coordination of activities enabling safe and optimized production and loss

Responsible for management of temporary equipment and long-term isolation

Administrative support of inhibits in providing risk-based review and quality assurance

Support of resource utilization by optimized planning and efficient preparation of activities

Administrative support of controlled master copies and management of red line P&ID’s

Responsible for capturing learnings in preparation and execution of activities 

Who we are looking for 

It is important you address the job with a strong understanding of the Business and People. Moreover, we see that you are a self-starter with an open mind who takes ownership of your tasks and act confident and competent in decision-making processes. 

You are expected to be detail-oriented and structured allowing you to navigate in a dynamic environment. As the role calls for interaction with many stakeholders, it is essential that you can excel in building good relations at all levels in the organization. 

You may hold a bachelor’s degree within the Marine industry or be a Process Engineer. Another possibility could be if you have a profound technical insight and knowledge from an offshore installation or process industry like a power plant, refinery, chemical industry or similar. 

Your other qualifications include: 

Knowledge of work permit systems

Strong safety mindset and behaviour

Process or production experience is required

Fluent in oral and written English
