Vestas Legal, Risk & Compliance > Group Legal > Procurement & Product Development

The Group Legal - Procurement and Product Development department is responsible for a broad variety of legal tasks from global sourcing contracts for components and services to strategic sourcing in new markets, IT contracts, R&D contracts, export control- and GDPR contract support, internal training, development of guidelines, policies and legal templates. As Corporate Legal Advisor you will be working closely with the commercial side in the decision-making process and be close to senior management on strategic projects. Moreover, we collaborate closely with regional legal departments around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate and review (multi territory) agreements such as purchase agreements, consultancy agreements, license agreements, and product development agreements
  • Support in M&A matters 
  • Effective and solution-oriented stakeholder management
  • Provide ad hoc legal support
  • Liaise with various departments in Vestas such as but not limited to Global Procurement, Power Solutions, Global Sales, Group Treasury etc
  • Internal legal training of stakeholders
  • Develop legal guidelines, policies, and templates 
  • Qualifications

  • You have a Law degree
  • Proven specialist experience with Contract Law
  • Solid experience from a large law office in Denmark or internationally, or from an in-house legal position in an international corporation
  • Substantial experience in working with international Contract Law 
  • Experience with personal data protection and export control 
  • Competencies

  • Great social skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across the global organisation
  • Solid business understanding combined with a service-minded attitude
  • A keen interest in continuously learning and developing
