Job Description

The Corporate Secretariat Assistant will play a central role in ensuring best in class governance and service to the Board of Directors and Executive Group Management (EGM) of ISS A/S and will gain great insight into the corporate governance of a Nasdaq OMXC25 company. Your key responsibilities will be to support on all aspects of the meetings and work of the Board and EGM:

  • Drafting/updating of templates
  • Communication with relevant stakeholders on a wide range of matters
  • Meeting invites, handling logistical and practical arrangements, archiving etc.
  • Preparation and execution of Board and EGM meetings, including agendas, pre-read, minutes, logistical arrangements, and coordination related hereto
  • Drive Board and EGM governance through design and implementation, including meeting structure, corporate calendar, and annual wheel
  • Coordination and alignment with Chair of the Board, Committee chairs, Group CEO, and ISS executive management
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between Board, executive team, and other stakeholders
  • Support the Chair and Board members on ad hoc matters as required
  • Support induction of new Board members
  • Update of Board related documents and sites, Directors Desk, ISS website, annual report, etc.
  • Support with the Annual General Meeting of ISS A/S
  • Support the Corporate Secretary with various other tasks
  • Personal & Professional Qualifications

  • University degree (BSc, MSc or MBA)
  • Positive and service-minded attitude, flexible, agile, strong engagement skills and ability to collaborate with and manage stakeholders at all levels in the organization as well as external stakeholders
  • Ability to proactively plan ahead and ensure a constant overview of activities and stakeholders
  • Ability to independently and proactively manage own work, prioritize and navigate within the organisation to find the help and support needed to complete the task at hand
  • Ability to work in an environment characterized by intense processes and short deadlines while still being able to priorities, navigate and deliver high quality in everything you do
  • Strong communication skills to be able to communicate complex information in a structured, logical, and credible manner
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
