Country Marketing Manager - Denmark

We are looking for a Country Marketing Manager for Denmark to join our North marketing team. You are an experienced marketeer who has a track record of both traditional and digital marketing channels. You are a true team player, collaborative and excellent at engaging with key stakeholders and sales. 

What You'll Do

Act as a member of the Country Leadership Team to communicate the marketing strategy and build and execute the marketing plan based on the country business goals for Denmark.

In order to be successful in this position, you need to be very skilled at and enjoy working on both a strategic and an operational level. This position is very hands-on in the day-to-day management and execution of all marketing aspects including planning, budgeting, execution, analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and implement a country marketing plan by customer segment and by customer journey.
  • Work closely with Sales on GTM strategies with segment priorities for the private and public sector to influence revenue growth.
  • Local activation of Cisco standardized customer journeys through digital marketing, events, webinars, sponsorships, telemarketing, case studies and other marketing tactics while adapting the marketing mix to align with the country-specific customer buying process and unique geography.
  • Understand and align the plan with the PR and Comms plan
  • Conduct quantifiable analysis of marketing program results and champion enhancements and optimization based on ‘MROI’ principles and Revenue Marketing methodology
  • Work closely with the global and regional marketing teams to drive strong alignment across the operating processes for sales and marketing with regards to the strategy for the country.
  • Building the brand and brand guardianship – through awareness, preference and thought leadership by identifying local opportunities to enhance the brand presence in the country.
  • Align with Digital Team to understand the digital strategy, execution plan and performance for the country.
  • Define and execute the country event marketing strategy and mix aligned to the customer journeys.
  • Who You'll Work With

    You will report to and work closely with the Marketing Director to lead the work for all marketing areas in the country, including partner marketing.

    Your role encompasses planning, reporting and standardised operating processes related to marketing.

    Who You Are

    Skills and Experience:

  • 7-10 years of proven success in working to build an effective marketing strategy and plan with a multi-tier and multi-channel sales organization going both directly to customers and working with/through partners. This may be within a similar role, or in leading a marketing function overall.
  • Ability to work with a highly matrixed organisation to influence and direct to achieve results.
  • A track record of marketing experience across the disciplines to be able to assess and determine an effective strategy
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator/teamwork. Able to build alignment, trust and accountability across teams.
  • Strategic thinker who is also practical and pragmatic about developing today’s business.
  • Mature leadership, instilling a collaboration culture and valuing diversity of people and perspectives.
  • We want you to be a fluent Danish speaker but the majority of the internal communication is in English.
