Customer Service Manager

To achieve this mission, we are currently looking for a Customer and Sales Support Manager .In this role, your responsibilities are split 50% manager / 50% operational. You have full responsibility of managing employees in the Sales Service team (CS, SF) such as setting goals, PMP, vacation planning, sick leave follow-up, arrange team meetings, set new wages and safety responsibilities.You are responsible for coordinating daily operative tasks of the team and helping out operationally when needed.
You are an escalation point for urgent and prioritized tasks coming from internal teams within Avantor and the GBCs. You will be a member of the Management Team for Finland.
You will be a part of the Region North Sales Services Leaders team and contribute to Regional or European projects as may be required by the Sales Services Director.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Company

  • Planning activities, such as, holiday planning, sick leaves, parental leaves and back up planning.
  • Make sure your team are kept updated on needed information. (Team meetings, written or oral info).
  • Analyze and decide training needs in cooperation with employees (Processes and products)
  • Make sure that we have local procedures in place, that the team is trained on these and records are stored in a common place.
  • Responsible for people and resources including employment, relocate, terminate – all in accordance with applicable business rules and in cooperation with HR.
  • Deep knowledge of the systems and processes used by the company
  • Ensure compliance with Avantor’s vision, mission and values
  • Ensure compliance with Avantor’s strategy, policies and objectives
  • Ensure fulfilment of PMP goals
  • Ensure development of competencies and procedures in order to maintain an updated and smooth business
  • Customers

  • Ensure workload is prioritised in your team on a daily basis in order to meet customer expectations and KPIs.
  • Ensure resources are planned accordingly to meet customers’ needs
  • Work with a Customer Centric approach to find solutions and collaborate with other functions to achieve solutions.
  • Products

  • Have a broad knowledge of priorities of the Avantor product range
  • Have a broad knowledge of existing campaigns and promote the right actions in the team
  • Market

  • Monitor competitors and markets trends
  • Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, customer events and other marketing activities when needed.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • You are fluent in Danish and English (written & spoken)
  • you have experience in a Coordinating/Team Leader position (experience in leading a project team or broader customer project should also suffice)
  • Experience with laboratory products is desirable
  • Preferable knowledge of tender legislation
  • Knowledge of MS Office, ERP and CRM
