Department Assistant in Global Development

Would you like to assist a dedicated team within Global Development? Clinical Pharmacology is looking for a Department Assistant to join us. In this job you will be offered exciting opportunities in an international setting with the possibility to interact with many different nationalities.

About the department
In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams with focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society.

Clinical Pharmacology is part of Global Development and comprises four departments. Our main responsibility is planning, execution and reporting of clinical pharmacology trials. We are a dedicated team who believe that results are best made together and we look forward to welcome you in our team.

The position
As Department Assistant you will play a key role supporting two Clinical Pharmacology departments with diverse assignments ranging from administrative tasks to independent coordination and follow-up. The key tasks include acting as Personal Assistant to 2 Managers, supporting with planning of meetings, preparation of agenda and minutes, preparation of power point presentations, travel arrangement and other ad hoc tasks.

Furthermore your job tasks will include budget planning and financial controlling. You will ensure that the department websites are updated and ensure that the department documentation is maintained in compliance with the Novo Nordisk standards.

The job is based in Søborg.

Qualifications
You are reliable, loyal and service-minded. You have a can-do attitude, enjoy working according to tight deadlines and master good communication skills. You have flair for numbers and experience with the planning and controlling of budgets.

You can work independently and always strive to find solutions to challenges at hand. You have solid IT skills and work in a structured manner with a sense for the details. You proactively take action and ownership for tasks and welcome new responsibilities.

You have the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment. You are proficient in both written and spoken English.
