Digital Child Safety Senior Manager

Core Responsibilities
The safeguarding of children sits firmly alongside our values and is a fundamental component of every LEGO® digital experience.
The purpose of this position is to build on and maintain The LEGO Group’s status as a leader in implementing and promoting digital child safety and responsible child engagement, supporting our strategic commitments towards the Children's Rights and Business Principles, and to ensure corporate compliance with relevant internal policy and external regulation.

In particular, you will:
• Support the business in implementing the LEGO Group Digital Child Safety policy and related guidelines
• Establish supervising compliance mechanism for digital child safety and wellbeing to ensure the highest standards across all digital experiences
• Together with the team, identify and develop new policies, processes and procedures and support its implementation
• Identify and lead relevant digital child safety and wellbeing initiatives together with key stakeholders (e.g. Digital Kids Engagement, LEGO® Games, Brand & Marketing, Legal, Gov & Pub. Affairs, etc.)
• Ensure that all insights and capabilities are shared and anchored across the relevant departments, and develop training and awareness building materials and initiatives
• Support the development of a global governance and compliance framework on Responsible Engagement with Children and support the administration of internal governance committee

The Responsible Child Engagement team sets the strategic direction for the LEGO Group’s work with children’s rights and responsible engagement with children in a digital environment. The team works to identify and lead initiatives to boost existing efforts and to drive innovation and leads the implementation of the Digital Child Safety Policy, the Child Safeguarding Policy and related guidelines. The position will report to the Director, Responsible Child Engagement.

The ideal candidate holds a degree from Social Science, Media Studies, Politics, Pedagogy, Business or similar and has proven experience working with child safeguarding, online safety, and digital compliance. Digital and social media proficiency with confident understanding of relevant regulations for protecting children’s privacy online, is a must. English communication skills are required.
