Digital Hardware Developer

The position

Are you an ambitious student within Finance looking to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real life environment, whilst starting off your international career?

HBK is currently looking for several Student Assistants within our Finance organization to be based in our HQ in Nærum, Denmark. You will benefit from a large degree of flexibility around your studies, whilst having ample opportunities for challenges and development.

As part of our Accounting & Financial Controlling team, you will guide, monitor and support the activities within the global finance organization and secure processes, progress and monthly closing. As well as this, you will get the chance to be involved in key strategic projects and business areas.

You can expect to work 15-20 hours per week. Whilst we will remain flexible to accommodate the working hours to your studies, we will also expect you to be able to support during times with stringent company deadlines.

Due to the international nature of the role, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who also read and speak Italian, French or Spanish (as well as English). Other languages would also be an advantage.

Primary responsibilities 

In this role you will be supporting the various teams within Finance including Finance Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables. 

Your daily work includes (examples):

  • Supporting Financial Analysis across countries/regions/segments
  • Supporting the process around preparation of Annual Reports
  • Preparing presentation material to support Management
  • Supporting monthly closing activities
  • Support processing of invoices 
  • Participate in customer collection/dunning process 
  • Design and prepare excel-models and templates 
  • Maintain relevant intra-net sections 
  • Support on internal and external compliance matters
  • You will contribute to the continuing development of our global Finance organization, and will get the opportunity to have an impact in a dynamic department. You can anticipate a good deal of responsibility in this position. 

    We will be able to offer you on the job training to help support your studies with relevant experience whilst giving you the independence to work autonomously.

    Professional qualifications 

    You are due to enrol in your Master’s studies, or have recently completed your first year. Your studies will have a financial focus (e.g. cand. merc. Or similar). Additionally, we make extensive use of IT systems, so it is expected that you have a natural interest in working with Microsoft Offices programs such as Excel and PowerPoint, and are able to adapt to new IT systems with ease. 

    Whilst Danish would be an advantage, it is not required.

    Finally, it would be beneficial to have shown previous experience working in a Financial organization, either through previous work experience or volunteer work.
