BioMar is currently looking for an English and Spanish speaking Digital Workplace & Collaboration Consultant with a strong focus on user centricity to join our global IT ServiceDesk.

We are on a journey towards becoming a truly global internal IT Services provider, with the ambition of providing excellent user experience by delivering professional and effective communication and training to our end-users while adopting to new workplace technologies.

You will be part of Global IT and refer to the IT Support Manager with Support colleagues in Denmark, Norway, and Chile. Our team is characterized by high ambitions, high professional standards, and an informal team spirit.

Play a key role as the front-end responsible of Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools, including but not limited to

  • Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer, Stream etc.
  • Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. 
  • Conference and Meeting rooms 
  • Document Management system 
  • Intranet and Websites 
  • You will be working closely together with our operational teams and IT Business Partners, to ensure effective implementation, communication, and adoption of these user centric collaboration services.

    You will stay updated on future Office 365 updates and how they may affect our users, while being on top of and aligning business requirements. 

    You will challenge and innovate the current way of working to improve our IT service deliveries within BioMar, with an increased focus on further use of mobile devices, in line with our “All Mobile” strategy.

    Your responsibilities will be

  • Leading the digital workplace transformation, adoption, and improvement initiatives, based on global business strategy and demands
  • Validating and effectively communicating upcoming feature updates to the business 
  • Partner with business to identify and prioritize opportunities 
  • Define and execute global adoption of the user centric services and collaboration applications through training programs which you manage and conduct in both English and Spanish
  • Plan and align changes using the Change Management process 
  • Proactively stays current with technology trends, specifically in the areas of intranet, digital workplace, user experience, online collaboration, and conference & meeting rooms. 
  • Strong personal drive and outgoing mindset

    As a person, we expect you to have a strong personal drive, an outgoing mindset, and good interpersonal and communication skills. You thrive working with organizational change management, and you have a strong ability in consulting and challenging business and management. Furthermore, we hope you would love to work in a diverse and multi-cultural organization across several geographies.

    At the same time, you probably:

  • Have a strong end-user orientation and service mindset 
  • Have excellent communication skills both orally and written, and you understand how to tailor your communication to your stakeholders 
  • Are experienced in requirement capturing and transforming these into demands 
  • Have demonstrated ability to lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings
  • Are equally good at working independently and as part of a team 
  • Have solid knowledge on ITIL processes and an ITIL certification 
  • Have experience in working with ServiceNow 
  • Be willing to travel up to ~30 days per year
