Description

Are you ready to impact the strategy of a multibillion (DKK) revenue global healthcare business and drive the business development and market intelligence with your team of 3 direct reports? Then join Radiometer Medical and analyze the market, the competitors and present business cases and your input to our business direction to the CEO and Senior VP team. We are certain that you can help us keep growing and developing if you have:


• +5 years of relevant experience, incl. leadership skills

• A strong business development and market intelligence toolbox from the Consultancy Industry or as an internal consultant in a global B-2-B company 

• Experience with business modeling and preferably health economics 

• Experience from the medical device or other regulated industry

• Advantage if you have experience with China  


Contribute to global strategic initiatives across the business

As the Director, Business Development & Market Intelligence, you and your team deliver market intelligence, competitor intelligence, market surveys and organic business development analysis.
Your tasks involve development of corporate strategic initiatives, driving and implementing strategic initiatives globally, including policy deployment, KPI definition, problem solving processes and follow-up. 
You can look forward to being in the spotlight on several occasions when you lead global workshops, including planning, facilitation and reporting of results at CEO/Senior VP level.
You join the marketing management team, reporting to the VP of Marketing, Rikke Christiansen. Expect to be a familiar face all over the organization as your work contributes to the strategic development of several areas including R&D, Sales, Marketing and Services to name a few.


Your responsibilities in more details:

• Promote the use of market intelligence resources to ensure that internal stakeholders have the right market intelligence to support their initiatives.

• Provide insights and actionable recommendations to drive and support strategic decision-making within marketing and across the business. 

• Drive comprehensive understanding of market dynamics including customers, competitors, market trends, technology, and other forces. 

• Provide analysis, insights and recommendations on the above through presentations, written reports and other interactions to support internal stakeholders in strategic and tactical initiatives.

• Proactively identify new opportunities, based on market intelligence, and make recommendations to senior leadership.

• Keep current on market intelligence and data resources and make appropriate recommendations on usage.Travel activities are expected to be around 10 - 15%.
