Director, Business Development, Marketing Intelligence & Pricing

The Director, Business Development, Market Intelligence & Pricing (BDMI & Pricing) reports directly to the VP Marketing Rikke Christiansen and leads a team of 4. The position is located at Radiometer Medical’s headquarters in Brønshøj.

 

Our new employee will interact with senior management on many occasions and be a trusted advisor and responsible for insights and intelligence for the yearly strategy process.

 

With the strategic level of the role and the wide stakeholder engagement required on all levels, the candidate must hold a strong grounding and mature leadership style to discuss and challenge, as well as be able to convey complex data in a simple manner.

 

The team and areas of responsibility

Our new Director will lead a team organized around three main streams: Competitive & Market Intelligence (CI/MI), Voice of the Customer (VOC), and Pricing & New Business Models.

 

CI and MI

  • Deliver Competitor and Market Intelligence for business decisions and strategy
  • Drive governance on CI/MI to optimize use and impact
  • Translates data into insights for both New Product Development (NPD) and commercial scope this includes e.g. input for strategy, adhoc analysis for potential BD/M&A, etc.

 

VOC

  • Provide guidance to teams on VOC methodology and challenge for high-quality conclusions
  • Ensure VOC is relevant, useful and makes a difference in strategic decisions

 

Pricing & New Business Models

  • Drive strategic pricing with Product Managers for new products and optimize during product life cycle – challenger and lead to secure pricing is optimized for impact. Local pricing and involvement in tenders is not part of the role.
  • Build new business models together with Product Management teams (Marketing and Global Service) to optimize monetization and impact of new offerings
  • Collaborate with Health Economic Mgr. in Clinical and Medical Affairs on models for Health Economic documentation

The position might lead to further careers in either one of the Business Areas in Strategic Marketing, Business Development, or into Sales depending on talent and aspiration.

 

You will have the opportunity to work in an energetic marketing environment with lots of possibilities to make your personal imprint on driving a very important area of the Radiometer business.

 

Qualifications

We expect you to have a relevant master's degree combined with as many competencies, skills and experiences as possible below:

  • Many years of relevant experience, preferably from Medtech or similar regulated industry
  • Beneficial with toolbox from consultancy or experience as internal consultant in a global B-2-B company e.g. Commercial Excellence or similar
  • Very strong proficiency and experience in stakeholder management, ideally with experience from a global environment and with executive team
  • People Management experience
  • Proven experience with business modelling and pricing required incl. for SaaS
  • Market access and health economic interfacing or experience beneficial
  • Excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills combined with a passion for presenting and driving the agenda
  • Capabilities related to PowerBI (or similar) and CRM are valuable assets

 

Under normal circumstances the job would require you to travel around 10-15% of your time. Radiometer has 30+ subsidiaries around the world.
