Assessment of multiple benefits of climate change stategies

Urban water management has moved from sizing of pipes to multiple objectives, including drought and flood risk assessments, green space management, and alignment with other urban planning objectives.
The objective of the thesis is to assess either the economic or resource efficiency of different strategies of urban water management. The basis will be the technical urban water management but with supplement of other tools for modelling and/or assessing performance over time given expected changes.
Depending on the project it will be possible to establish collaboration with utilities or municipalities
Forudsætninger
-general understanding of flooding + urban drainage-first experience in modelling with MIKE+
