E-Commerce Platform Owner

We’re looking for an E-commerce Platform Owner to lead a team of E-commerce managers, UX specialists and data scientists and be responsible for optimising our E-commerce platform. 

More than 100,000 people browse our website for men’s accessories every day. To grow and succeed, we need to provide these users with the best experience possible. We need to be front-runners within E-commerce – constantly analysing and optimising, and we need a team dedicated to this mission.

As the E-commerce Platform Owner, you will optimise our website for business metrics (CR/AOV/LTV) with a data-driven approach, and you’ll make sure our brand DNA is strategically implemented across the website. Ultimately, you’ll build the team responsible for mapping and implementing optimisation projects at Trendhim. 

 

What’s this role about? 

Your team will be responsible for user testing, data-driven split testing, analysing data from our CDP, and building hypotheses. You’ll be a part of every project that needs to be implemented on our E-commerce platform (front-end).

You’ll be given the responsibility of a small, talented team. You’ll also have the task of hiring team members and expanding the team with relevant competencies. You’ll be part of an important teamwork – CTO, CX Responsible, CMO and Brand Manager – facilitating the overall customer journey at Trendhim.

 

With your background and understanding of user behaviour, you’ll lead and manage:

  • Improvement of CR, LTV and AOV.
  • The mission of transforming our website from being an online catalogue to an inspirational browsing experience.
  • The implementation of campaigns and important brand messaging across the platform to connect with our users.
  • Quantitative research and split testing.
  • Qualitative research on user behaviour and user testing.
  • Our CDP and analytics platform. 

You’ll work with data from millions of orders, impressions and sessions. Your data stack will consist of mParticle, Amplitude, Chartio and Analytics. All projects that cross your team will be powered by flows in Asana.

 

 Requirements 

  • You’re great with people, numbers and projects.
  • You have experience working with branding and marketing.
  • You have experience transforming brand manuals into business decisions.
  • You have experience working with customer journeys.
  • You understand the implications of improving AOV, CR or LTV.
  • You’re structured and can juggle great amounts of data within multiple projects. 
  • You have an understanding of statistical models and the pitfalls of working with data.
  • You’re naturally tech-savvy. 
  • You have a learning attitude. We have room to grow and we want a team of people with aptitude… not just skill sets.

You may not have years of management experience, but you are a natural leader and feel comfortable in a room with other managers.
