Educational Concept Specialist

Are you excited about changing and shaping learning environments? Do you feel passionate about creating abilities for every child to learn and grow? Joining LEGO® Education, you can help develop playful learning experiences for children in classrooms across the world.

Create playful and educational learning experiences

You will join Front End Innovation within LEGO Education where we deliver playful learning experiences to pre-, elementary and middle schools as well as afterschool programs. Here, you will collaborate with a team on developing new learning concepts aimed at educators and students. Bringing the physical and digital LEGO Experience into classrooms across the globe, you will:

• Use your educational knowledge to determine learning outcomes and opportunities for new products with a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math)

• Participate in the process of maturing new ideas from prototyping to testing and execution

• Create learning materials that explain learning outcomes which reflect various stages of development

• Interact with internal and external stakeholders (including students and teachers) to define and continuously expand the scope of our learning experiences

This role will take you travelling 10-20 days a year to visit schools and teaching environments, primarily within the USA and to Europe and China.

Helping every student to succeed

At LEGO Education, you contribute to our quest to give children the best education and learning experiences possible. Our goal is to deliver high-impact innovation concepts with a focus on interlinking education with the physical and digital LEGO experience. Through our focus on STEM, we want to enable every student to succeed.

Here, you get to enrich the lives of children globally as you help create active, collaborative and lifelong learners. You become part of an international community of dedicated colleagues who take pride in our day-to-day work to create ways for children to learn and unfold their potential.

Educational experience and a strong interest in technology

You are known as a dedicated and innovative team player who is passionate about creating new learning opportunities. With your high level of integrity, you believe in the power of teamwork. Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

• You probably have 3+ years of experience in the educational industry

• Alternatively, you have 3+ years of educational experience and a track record of initiating new learning concepts (preferably from an international context)

• You have a strong technological understanding - it is an added advantage if you have knowledge of or experience with digital development including hardware and electronics

• You have a strong firsthand knowledge of the needs of teachers and students in k-12

• You speak and write English fluently

Bringing it to life

"You will join a buzzing environment where joining forces and sharing knowledge across different fields inspires new learning opportunities - and you will get to use your own insights and experience to help innovate the learning environment of classrooms across the globe. That’s pretty exciting if you ask me,” says Jesper Elling, Creative Director Front End Innovation.

Join the global LEGO® family

In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family, where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment. We look forward to receiving your application. Please remember to attach your cover letter and a current CV in English.
