EHS Supporter to DAPI

Do you have a burning interest in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and are you capable of driving process optimisation across business units? Can you take the operational responsibility for implementing and optimising EHS solutions? Then you could be our new EHS Supporter in Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (DAPI) in Product Supply.

About the department
Diabetes API is an organisation with around 2.000 employees located mainly in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are the largest Insulin manufacturing site in the world and responsible for the production of all diabetes related active ingredients in Novo Nordisk.

As EHS Supporter, you will join 12 highly engaged colleagues in the DAPI Finance & EHS department, which is part of the DAPI Business Support area. Within Environment, Health & Safety, the department establishes the strategies and management systems needed to respond to our current and future challenges in these areas. Furthermore, we provide expert knowledge, ensure compliance and help drive improvements by supporting implementation of strategies into robust processes.

The position
You will be responsible for the operational activities in the DAPI EHS team including reporting to senior management and stakeholders outside DAPI, as well as participation in processes such as Risk and Performance Management. Here also lies the responsibility of continuously improving all our reporting processes through standardisation and automatisation. Furthermore, you will drive and participate in cross organisational EHS projects, which aim to solve challenges within the area or make the work stream across the organisation more efficient.

Qualifications
You hold a relevant Master’s Degree or have relevant Science/Technical background with a successful track record within EHS, either in a local unit or in a corporate function. Preferably, you have knowledge of the current Danish legislation within Environment, Health & Safety. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including an ability to build relationships and trust, you are ready to invest time and effort.

The job requires solid IT, analytical, process and interpersonal skills combined with a high level of drive. You are a team player, take the initiative and have a high level of engagement. The atmosphere in the department is informal, so if you can maintain your sense of humour at all times, you are the kind of person we are looking for.

Working at Novo Nordisk
At Novo Nordisk, we strive for excellence. As a world leader in diabetes care we offer our employees opportunities for continuous growth. Furthermore, social responsibility is an important leading star in our company, why Environment, Health & Safety are, as part of our Triple Bottom Line, always in focus.
