Device Manufacturing & Sourcing is looking to expand our team with an automation engineer to execute optimisation projects and help maintain the advanced high volume automated lines producing our newest injection devices.
The position
You will be part of a team of highly skilled engineers that support our global production network (Denmark/US/China/Europe), and handles improvements, upgrades, and expansion of production capacity globally with a global production perspective. As you will be supporting our production facility, you must thrive in a flexible environment, where priorities and tasks change often. Your tasks will amongst others be to:
Identify and drive improvement projects within automation. Use systematic problem solving and a LEAN mindset to solve production issues, e.g., bug-fixing and optimizations. Collaborate across many functional areas and with people from different backgrounds. The work location is Hillerød, Denmark. Qualifications
You have an academic degree with a strong background in automation. As a person, you have a proactive approach, and you are good at establishing relations with other people and communicating constructively.
Knowledge of PLCs and Ladder Logic Programming or similar is a requirement Mechanical understanding of CAM and/or servo-controlled machines, including motion control is an advantage Knowledge and experience with server and IT infrastructure operations, e.g., patching, performance monitoring, and network setup, is an advantage Knowledge of machine vision and machine learning is an advantage but not a requirement Knowledge of Good manufacturing practice (GMP) is an advantage but not a requirement You command Danish and English language in oral and written
About the department
You will join the function called Pre-assembly Production in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 150 colleagues, working in 6 teams, and we produce the mechanical Motor Module in Novo Nordisk’s newest prefilled devices FlexTouch® and FlexPro®. We deliver large quantities to our sister factories in Injectable Finished Products and Biopharmaceuticals. We are dedicated to delivering strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk by ensuring high-quality components at a competitive cost for our customers within prefilled devices.
