Academic Work is looking for an engineer to our client FedEx. This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from FedEx is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.


You will have an exciting job and function as internal consultant, supporting the operations management team with questions regarding new establishments, process development, and business strategies.

You will have an array of tasks and varying work, so you’ll experience that no two days are alike. You will, through thorough analysis of FedEx’s business processes on a national and international basis, contribute with recommendations for new processes and methods based on established best practice.

There will be considerable focus on FedEx’s business processes and how these can be adapted to optimally function within a company that operates round the clock.

You will work in FedEx’s office in Kastrup, Copenhagen, but you job will encompass the whole Nordic region.


We are looking for an educated engineer within industrial economy, mechanical engineering, logistics or the like.

You may be newly graduated or have only a couple of years’ experience within process- and business-development, logistics or the like. You have good analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem-solving. You also have good written and oral communicative skills in English. As a person you are flexible and cooperative, who likes to work within a small team.

This is a demanding job which requires that you are willing to learn new things, driven and highly motivated towards building a career within FedEx. You are also business oriented and have a natural skill in analyzing and optimizing costs, and have a constant focus on how income, revenue and margins can be increased.

Start: Immediately, but with flexibility in terms of notice period.
