Roku pioneered streaming to the TV. We connect users to the streaming content they love, enable content publishers to build and monetize large audiences, and provide advertisers with unique capabilities to engage consumers. Roku streaming players and Roku TV™ models are available around the world through direct retail sales and licensing arrangements with TV brands and pay TV operators.

Roku’s Denmark office is focused on acoustics and audio streaming technologies. The key technologies are high performing wireless surround sound and multi room audio systems.

The Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist on wireless audio streaming protocol and networking services development (C++) based on ARM SoC platforms
  • Design unit & system test cases for internal deliveries and run the tests (C++, Python)
  • Assist indirectly in customer support activities
  • Assist in issue troubleshooting
  • Assist in internal document creation and review. 
  • Preferences:

  • Programming skills in C++ / Python language
  • Knowledge of Matlab
  • Strong capability for trouble shooting
  • Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a relevant engineering education at the time of application
  • A self-starter attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good English skills, both oral and written
  • Good communication and presentation skills 
  • What you’ll learn:

  • Advanced C++ on embedded platforms
  • How to write efficient and reusable code
  • Low latency network protocols
  • Audio processing
