We are looking for a new colleague to join our global department for processes and equipment within our offshore supply chain. We are responsible for the development and implementation of new prototype blades and blade factories worldwide. Like the rest of the wind industry, we face major transformations to adapt to the steep increase in demand of offshore wind turbines. To make sure quality and efficiency is maintained on this journey we are looking for an Equipment Functional Lead to guide the equipment area within our department. How to contribute to our vision As the Equipment Functional Lead, your main tasks will be to ensure that our team of 15+ Equipment Engineers have what they need to be high performers. That includes: Support systems Procedures/guides/templates Training Networking Quality And much more You will oversee defining and/or improving our way of working to enable world class quality and efficiency of all our deliverables. That also means finding the right balance between documentation and execution. Our Equipment Engineers are working in several different teams on several different projects and you will be working to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across both. What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. You would also need to have: Experience in working with manufacturing equipment in complex situations, across organizations Excellent facilitation and communication skills in English, both written and verbally Good skills and experience within change management Basic project management experience BSc or MSc in engineering or other technical degree You have a background with 8+ years of experience within a production environment, that provides you with experience of different ways of working. You have experience from several companies and have thereby tried what works and doesn’t work for various situations and are able to find the right solutions that enable agile, fast and efficient systems without compromising safety, quality and transparency. As a person, you are self-driven, proactive, systematic and enjoy helping others. You like to “put things in order” and thrive in an international environment with colleagues, suppliers and customers from around the world.
