Export Sales Manager

For one of our clients in Eastern Jutland, Birn+Partners is looking for a new Export Sales Manager.

The Export Sales Manager will become part of a dynamic team in a company with high growth ambitions.
You will be given a key role in the organisation with a high level of influence of your own work and the company's results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct sales of advanced equipment and complete production lines to various industry segments.
  • Developing existing customers and identifying new customers and sales opportunities.
  • Building and developing agent networks in relevant markets and segments.
  • Close cooperation with the sales colleagues and engineering department.

The Export Sales Manager will report to the Sales Director.

As Export Sales Manager, you must expect to have approximately 60 days of travelling per year, within Europe.

The work place will be in the Eastern part of Jutland.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must have experience working in export sales in an industrial project market with technical complex machinery.

  • Experience with international project and solution sales for the industrial market
  • Experience with technical sales – can discuss technical problems/solutions with customers and colleagues
  • Customer relationship management
  • Key account management
  • Networking cross boarder
  • Systematic sales approach
  • Value added selling
EDUCATION
  • The education can be either commercial or technical as long as the mindset is commercial with the ability to understand technical project sales.
LANGUAGE COMPETENCIES
  • English (verbal and writing)
  • High level of German (verbal and writing)

IT COMPETENCIES
  • Superuser Microsoft Office Package

  • Structured and methodical work style with strong communication skills
