External Lecturer in the field of technology regulation, policy and law related to Information Technology and digitalization.

This concerns a position as an external lecturer in the field of IT management and digitalization. The candidate is expected to have a higher degree in sociology or political science, law, or information systems (IS), and must have expertise in areas concerning social and organizational policy as well as regulatory aspects of technology.

The position is on a temporary part-time basis and limited to three years with a possibility of 2 extensions of three years each.

The position includes:

  • Supervision and examination of projects at undergraduate and graduate level CBS IT programs
  • Possibility for teaching/course planning activities
  • Preparation of teaching material and exam questions
  • Participation in exams as examiner or second examiner.

The position usually requires a masters degree as well as further qualifications (special skills), special practical experience or other special qualifications at a high level.
Practical and relevant teaching or supervision experience is desirable. Candidates with documented qualifications in research and university level teaching on technology regulation or policy/law areas related to IT are preferred.

Teaching-related qualifications will be included in the assessment. Candidates with documented previous experience in university level student supervision and pedagogics are preferred.

Salary and employment take place in accordance with the circular regarding external lecturers at universities, etc. under the Ministry of Education. The number of working hours is a minimum of 100 hours and a maximum of 500 hours per academic year and may vary during the semester. The number of hours will be determined twice a year and the employee will be paid in accordance with this. In connection with employment as an external lecturer, the future employee must accept to take a pedagogical course organised by CBS (only if the employee is not able to document participation in pedagogical courses or experience during the first year of employment) and participate in lecturer meetings.
