Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As a Field Application Scientist you will use your expert hands-on experience with cell culture to help customers implement our technology for their applications. You will work in conjunction with our team of sales representatives to expand our operations and support end users globally, primarily in Europe. You will also participate in our conference activities and develop educational content for existing and potential customers. Furthermore, as a headquarter based application scientist you will be enrolled in release validation procedures as well as marketing strategies.

Your tasks will be to:
- Plan and perform product demonstrations, installations, training and presentations at end-user sites.
- Provide technical support for end users via remote or onsite trouble shooting.
- Support marketing and sales in identifying key customer segments and developing strategies to increase reach and revenue
- Generate marketing, scientific and product relevant material for prospective and existing customers.
Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a Ph.D. degree in cell biology, immunology, cancer biology or related area. In addition, the candidate needs to have:
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and training skills
- GMP knowledge and/or experience is desirable
- Extensive experience in eukariotic cell culturing
- Hands-on experience with image and flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy is preferred
