Based in Denmark or Norway, this position will report to the Sr. Director EMEA Field Marketing and will be working closely with channel and sales departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with Sr. Director EMEA Field Marketing and the Nordics/Baltics sales leadership to develop and execute marketing plans which drive pipeline, leads and brand awareness per country in line with the EMEA marketing strategy and the countries’ sales priorities
• Complete understanding and demonstrated track record across all tactics, with integrated marketing, communications, and PR tactics to drive the pipeline: digital campaigns, call out campaigns, event management, high-touch tactics, etc.
• Collaboration and management of the region with the Field Marketing Manager for Sweden, Finland and Iceland
• Elaborate with distributors quarterly COOP marketing plans aligned with the EMEA channel strategy and control smooth execution
• Plan and follow execution of joint marketing activities with partners for demand creation
• Work with different Fortinet teams (e.g. EMEA Business Development, in-country Sales, channel marketing and Demand Center) to ensure closed-loop lead generation process around direct marketing activities
• General coordination of the region’s events such as end customer and partner/channel events and industry conferences. This includes the preparation and follow up for each event
• Manage relationships with local agencies and track spend
• Creation of MDF Purchase Requisitions, invoices management and budget tracking
• Assignment of leads to the relevant campaign and sales representative in Salesforce.com, track ROI on each activity
• Other duties as assigned


Profile / Education / Experience
• At least 7 years’ experience in IT Field or Channel Marketing in Nordics/Baltics (preferably both)
• Demonstrated success in driving marketing campaigns and promotions to meet the revenue goals of sales teams
• Proven Channel Marketing experience including building marketing plans, follow-up and measurement with distributors and partners
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to work cross-functionally to plan and execute successful marketing programs
• Ability to manage the planning and execution of programs in a deadline-driven environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, responsive, strong organization and communication skills
• Knowledge of CRM/sales/email automation systems and how to maximize them for efficient lead distribution and reporting (SFDC & Pardot or any other automation tool experience a plus)
• Good English language communication skills, both written and oral and Danish or Norwegian
• Proficient use of MS Office applications
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related degree
