FM and Real Estate Manager

Do you have a solid experience in Facilities Management and Real Estate? Are you passionate about creating long-term and effective solutions that can add value for the units you support? Ramboll are currently recruiting for a Country FM Manager to be based in our headquarters in Ørestad (Copenhagen).

Your responsibilities as FM and Real Estate Manager

You will be part of a team of FM Managers that report directly to the Senior Director of Global FM & RE and Head of FM&RE in Denmark managing 13 offices (approx. 75.000sqm) that houses a total of 3.300 employees. You will be responsible for an annual budget of more than DKK 280 million and manage a small team of FM professionals.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Manage the centralised FM organisation in Denmark.
  • Deliver FM services to our users whilst meeting budgets and other objectives set out for the FM operation in Denmark.
  • Minimise space usage and costs related to managing and operating the office portfolio.
  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction within our offices and related services among building users including our visitors.
  • Manage various FM projects with a national impact, e.g. implementation of new workflows, office refurbishment, FM related IT-applications etc.

As most of our service delivery has been outsourced to our FM service partners, you will also play an active role in developing and managing the existing contracts and relationships with them.

You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, which require flexibility and prioritisation capability, and will allow you to utilise all your skills and abilities.

Some travel activity should be expected in DK and possibly also to other countries where FM & RE provides support to Ramboll's business units.

You and your competencies

You will hold a degree at B.Sc. or MSc. level in engineering, economics or similar and have extensive experience in Facilities Management, preferably in large international organisations and/or with an FM provider.

You will have solid experience as a people manager, contract manager and project manager and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage change and relations with internal customers, decision makers, suppliers, and team members.

Furthermore, you must be able to provide decision support that is operationally useful in relation to changes, quality, and streamlining of services delivered by Global FM & RE's.

You will communicate effortlessly in Danish, but English is our corporate language and therefore you must be able to present and communicate convincingly in English – to all levels of the organisation including senior management and other stakeholders.

You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, as well as other relevant applications.

You will be a self-starter and a strong leader. You are assertive with a willingness and ability to produce results in a relatively complex and international organisation.

You are characterised by high spirits and a team player, and you thrive in an informal and solution-oriented international environment characterised by growth and change.

Global Facility Management and Real Estate (FM & RE) supports all Ramboll's business units and handles a variety of tasks related to particularly building operations, catering, cleaning, fleet, printing, receptions and site security.

Alongside the daily operations, we are working on the development of the function and continuous optimisation of our services to approx. 13.000 employees in approx. 300 locations worldwide.

We are a relatively new function formed in beginning of 2015 with a mission to ensure that we have an effective FM setup in place that across all countries can optimise and deliver effective FM services of high quality contributing to Ramboll's continued growth and development.
