About your new team
You will join an international team of developers with high digital ambitions. The team consists of 30 talented colleagues, who are on a mission to create the best solutions. The project is heading towards full implementation, and your emphasis will be on developing the system frontend. As our new frontend developer, you will work together with business experts, product owners, designers and requirement engineers to implement the User Interface for our digital platform. We use React and Redux to create the visual and functional components, NPM as the tool for managing our packages and Typescript as our programming language. Fetching of the data is done through REST APIs and we are in process of introducing GraphQL for a better query and manipulation of data. Build and deployment is handled in Azure DevOps and testing is done using Jest and

snapshot testing. We strive for a close collaboration between frontend developers, peer programming and code reviews to enforce learning and knowledge sharing.

 

About you

  • You hold a master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
  • You have experience in Frontend development and React and JavaScript
  • You have experience working with REST APIs
  • You know the principles of CSS and CSS preprocessors like Sass and LESS
  • You have excellent English skills – verbally and in writing – and are eager to learn
  • Preferably, you have experience with GraphQL
  • Preferably, you have experience within TDD and modern DevOps principles.

Production IT consists of 30+ colleagues in 4 regional competence centres around the globe. The Stack
Our current stack runs on Ruby on Rails, Coffeescript, React, Postgres, Redis, some Bootstrap, AWS and more. We work using: Github, Slack, Trello, Honeybadger, Google Analytics, Google Optimise, Semaphore (for automated testing) as well as a range of internally built monitoring and management systems. We work based on SCRUM and believe that the best products are built when frontend and backend is in close collaboration.
