Full Stack Developer, Tools and Operations

We are bare based in Denmark, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Germany and are 1½ year into our agile transformation and are still learning.

You will be an agile team member with software development as the primary responsibility but also understands the need to think end-to-end solutions and taking responsibility for the complete value delivery of your team. Concretely, it implies that even though your primary skills and responsibilities lie within software development, we expect you to help in test and automation as needed and where possible.

 

The position

The position is in one of our four Tools and Operations teams and is in Copenhagen. The teams are responsible for tools used in development, quality control, internal operation and delivery of our product, SimCorp Dimension. We also serve as an internal technical advisor and knowledge base for application developers and we have required in-depth technical knowledge and insight. In our daily work, we use a multitude of technologies such as Visual Studio, GitHub, Team System (TFS), Oracle, and TeamCity. We are currently transforming our tool stack to be centered around GitHub as a platform. We have in many years worked with automation and continuous delivery with more than 75.000 jobs running daily. We will over the next years revisit our ways of operation and the ideal candidate will have the technical insights and drive to make it happen together with the team and organization.

  

Your qualifications

You are an experienced developer with extensive knowledge of development tools and work flow, test and software configuration management – a true software engineer. Hence, it is beneficial if your key qualifications fall in:

  • Coding and scripting (C#, Dyalog APL, F#, PL/SQL and PowerShell)
  • Software Configuration Management (including database management (Oracle))
  • Automation (TeamCity, Jenkins, Seq, IBM Workload Scheduler)
  • Agile experience and willingness to T-shape ("can-do mindset")

As a person, you possess the drive and interest in converting complex problems into code and working solutions. You are passionate about your work, have a high-quality mind-set and together with your team take pride in delivering good results.
