About The Job
Overall responsibilities:
You will be entirely responsible for the design, modelling, rigging and animation of our low poly game assets within 3D Studio Max.
You will be working within a small, multi-disciplinary team producing low poly game content such as pets, weapons, and chassis. As a creative and self motivated individual working under the direction of a Creative Lead you will be relied upon to be a consistent source of imaginative and kick-ass ideas. Part of your responsibility will be to estimate and plan your own tasks, and we expect a high level of productivity.
The position will be a 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent hiring.

Requirements:
- Low poly modelling
- Rigging and animation
- Fundamental understanding of real time shaders
- Experienced in 3D Studio Max
- Ability to achieve great results with within a limited technological framework
- Fluent in English

Nice to have:
- Unity experience
- Familiar with source control (i.e. SVN/Git)
- Experience making particle effects
- Familiar with Scrum

Our ten person team consists of Programmers, a UI Designer, a Creative Lead and a Product Manager. You will be reporting to the Product Manager of the team and also be part of a cross company guild of Artists.

Who are you?

We are looking for - Pardon my French - a “kick-ass” graphic designer / visual communication student to work part-time (about 15 hours per week) and help us design and shape our green message both to our business and consumer segment. You will be part of a young-spirited vibrant small team and take part in that wholly new and exciting chapter for EcoTree: the international expansion. More specifically, we are looking for someone who:

 

  • Is studying either graphic design or visual communication (bachelor or masters)
  • Has a creative spirit in a structured mind
  • Has top-notch graphic design skill-set
  • Is a genius when it comes to developing graphic ideas for marketing content, but who’s also capable of implementing material from step A (idea-level) to Z (end-product).
