Global Communication Lead in the Tresiba® area

The Tresiba® area is seeking a dynamic and driven Global Communication Lead, with excellent expertise in communications, a strategic mind-set, strong planning skills and very good stakeholder management competences.

About the department
The job is in the Tresiba® Management with close collaboration to the Tresiba® brand team. You would join a team of energetic and driven professionals engaged in the launch and commercialisation of Tresiba®.

Tresiba® is launched globally and has reached blockbuster status and has a vast range of Life Cycle Management activities planned. Tresiba® management and the Tresiba® brand team develops the brand strategy, works with affiliates to secure successful launches and engages cross-functionally to secure strong product Life Cycle Management.

The position
Your key responsibilities will be development of the external communication strategies along with the overall public relations plan for Tresiba® and integrate these brand communication strategies on a global level.

You will take ownership of messaging and media materials to support milestone announcements and disease awareness programmes, collaborating across key audiences and stakeholders to secure alignment. A key part of the role is to design communication strategies to raise visibility of key data as well as leveraging e.g. key congresses to educate media and healthcare providers about presented data and related communication milestones.

You will lead all brand-related issues and crisis communication, hereunder proactively liaise with key internal stakeholders to identify potential issues and develop relevant materials to ensure preparedness.

In this role, you will work closely with Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, brand teams, Market Access, Medical Affairs as well as other relevant functions to ensure alignment on the communication strategies and you will manage PR agencies to deliver agreed results according to these strategies.

Qualifications
You hold a degree within Communications, Public Relations, Journalism and/or a Scientific degree combined with pharmaceutical business understanding. You have experience working with pharmaceutical marketing and preferably disease market knowledge within diabetes or other chronic disease area and proven results in managing complex cross-organisational projects.

You have solid experience within the area of corporate communications, with documented results from a wide range of communication disciplines, hereunder experience developing organisational communication capabilities and experience with consulting or training of senior management in relation to sensitive communication matters, such as major change processes.

To successfully handle responsibilities in this position, strong marketing and strategic insight must be combined with outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills. You can set direction, inspire and motivate and build excellent relationships with stakeholders. You can drive cross-functional projects and manage a complex stakeholder landscape.

The position is based in Søborg, Denmark, approximately 5 miles from the centre of Copenhagen. Extensive travel activity should be expected, around 30-40 days annually.
