Global Medical Affairs Coordinator in Obesity

About the department
Global Medical Affairs Obesity and Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is one of four areas within the Global Medical Affairs organisation. The department is responsible for building and delivering consistent scientific communication across all phases of clinical trials related to GLP-1 Diabetes.

The position
You will be supporting the Vice President (VP) of Obesity and NASH and a department of highly skilled and dedicated Directors, Medical Doctors and Project Managers. As Global Medical Affairs Coordinator, you will be responsible for many tasks within the VP area, such as budgets, department meetings, on-boarding of new employees as well as ensuring compliance in our interaction with Health Care Professionals. You will coordinate symposia and advisory boards with other stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing line budgets.

As part of the Global Medical Affairs Coordinator team, you are encouraged to seek cross-functional and organisational collaboration in your daily work and take responsibility related to shared activities.

You have a relevant educational background within office administration or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, English or similar. You have 3-5 years of experience within administrative processes, especially budget planning/follow-up.

Preferably, you have experience from the pharmaceutical industry or a larger company where you also have managed communication and coordination with international stakeholders.

Furthermore, we expect that you are structured and able to plan your tasks well and ahead, conducting administrative tasks in a proactive and independent manner and have a high level of knowledge in Microsoft Office programs.

Good communication skills and fluency in English, spoken and written, is required. We expect that you have a flexible approach to your work and are able to accommodate tight deadlines and are willing to work in a high paced environment. A strong quality mind-set and attention to details in deliverables, coordination and planning must be a natural part of your work. In a day-to-day setting, you are acknowledged as a team-player with a good spirit and a can-do attitude.
