Global Product Manager, ISH Product Portfolio

Job Description


Agilent is a global leader in tissue-based cancer diagnostics. Hospital and research laboratories worldwide use Agilent's Dako reagents, instruments, software and expertise to make precise diagnoses and determine the most effective treatment for cancer patients.

We are currently looking for a Global Product Manager for Agilent's Products for In Situ Hybridization (ISH), including our large portfolio of SureFISH probes.

Do you have experience with molecular testing techniques, and have you worked within the field of product management or commercialization of medical devices and/or diagnostic tests? And do you want to work with pathology and precision medicine products to make a difference for cancer patients around the world? Then you might be the person that we are looking for to join our Global Pathology Marketing team.

You will be responsible for managing the entire product life cycle of our ISH product portfolio. You will work closely with other Global Product Managers and Global Marketing Managers to ensure a solution-oriented approach to our activities and priorities and you will also engage with our production sites in both Denmark and USA. The position is cross functional, and you will be solving a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.

The position's main responsibilities are:

  • Manage product life cycle, including development of global marketing life cycle plans, for your product areas.
  • Drive product care activities in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop promotional activities to grow market share in close collaboration with local Marketing and Sales teams to ensure the product meets its commercial objectives.
  • Prepare business cases/project justifications for initiation of new product development or product improvement and participate as marketing representative in these projects.
  • Develop and execute on launch plans in close collaboration with the Global Marketing Manager.
  • Conduct product and sales training for customer facing teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within R&D, Production, Sales and QA/RA.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to define current and future market needs, including creation and maintenance of key relationships with influential customers and thought leaders.
