Job Responsibilities
Your primary job responsibilities include:
Grow the profitable business within the refrigeration segment globally, short term and long term Prepare, pursue and execute clear strategies ensuring alignment of underlying business activities and engaging all relevant internal stakeholders Manage and support the launch of new products providing guidance from “Voice of Customer” through post launch adjustments Collaborate with the application team on evaluation of- and participation in external partner projects supporting future business developments Actively collect market input from all available sources, and consolidate and effectively share internally and where relevant, externally Help to position Danfoss as a thought leader in trends such as electrification and natural refrigerants currently changing the applications in global markets Look for best practices and share those globally with relevant stakeholders
Background & Skills
You have a Technical degree combined with a strong commercial mindset, or a Marketing/Business degree combined with a passion and flair for technology, combined with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in the food service industry and/or in commercial refrigeration.
You are an excellent networker and bridgebuilder with a holistic and strategic mindset. You maneuver safely in a global matrix and have the ability to challenge status quo and advocate for a vertical market approach, supporting the business in breaking down silos.
In addition, the ideal candidate possesses these qualifications and characteristics:
Solid sales and marketing/service mindset Self-starter with proven ability to “move” things Ability to manage multiple projects Good collaborator across cultures and disciplines Excellent communication skills Good analytical skills Good product knowledge of relevant product portfolio Deep knowledge of commercial refrigeration applications Good understanding of the food service industry
